Good exhaust, quick delivery

Just got the 370Z Exhaust for my car. It shipped fast, got to my place in Ohio in about 4-5 days. Installation wasn't too bad, mostly because the parts actually lined up right. Sound is pretty good, not too loud but definitely an upgrade. I was a bit worried about ordering a big part online, but it worked out well. Happy with the purchase.

GT-R Intercooler Kit worked

Ordered the GT-R Intercooler Kit. Arrived quickly. Installed it myself. Performance feels better. No issues with parts. Good experience.

Another solid order

I've ordered from AAM Competition a few times now, and they're always reliable. This last time I got the Q60 Lower Downpipes. Shipping was quick, like usual, arrived in about 4 days. The fitment was spot on, just like the GT-R Midpipe I bought last year. Their parts always feel like good quality, and I appreciate that consistency. I keep coming back because I know what to expect.

Hey, if I sign up for their newsletter, do I get a discount code or something? Trying to save a few bucks on these Q60 lower downpipes.

P Paula 1 month ago
Sometimes they send out a small discount for signing up, like 5% off. It's not always guaranteed but worth a shot.

I think I got a 5% off code when I first signed up. It's usually a one-time thing, but hey, every little bit helps.

Just wondering about the legit-ness of AAM Competition. Saw some sweet deals on parts for my Q60 but wanna make sure they're not some fly-by-night operation.

B Ben K. 2 weeks ago
Nah, AAM's legit. Been around for a while specializing in Nissan/Infiniti stuff. Good reputation in the community.

Totally legit. They're pretty well-known for their GT-R and Z-car parts, quality is usually top-notch. Not some rando outfit.

Hey guys, thinking of grabbing one of those GT-R exhaust systems from AAM. Anyone know if they run Black Friday sales? Don't wanna pull the trigger then see a better deal next month.

E Emma K. 1 month ago
Yeah, they totally do! I snagged my midpipe during their Black Friday sale last year. Was like 10% off, worth waiting for if you can.

I think they usually have something for BF and Cyber Monday. Not sure if it's across the board or just on certain items, but definitely keep an eye out.

Are all of AAM Competition's parts made here in the USA, or do they source some stuff overseas? Curious about quality control.

R Rachel Torres 1 week ago
Most of their major performance parts, especially the exhausts and bigger kits, are designed and manufactured in-house or in the US. They're big on that. Smaller components might be sourced, but the core stuff is American-made.

AFAIK, their main stuff like the GT-R turbo kits and exhausts are made in the US. That's kinda their thing.

Do these guys offer a military discount? My buddy said some performance shops do, but didn't see anything obvious on their site.

J Jared 1 month ago
Yep, they do! I got a military discount on my last order. You usually have to verify it or email them, but it's there.

I think so. I remember seeing it mentioned somewhere. Always worth asking before you buy, can save a bit.

Does AAM Competition ship internationally? I'm in Canada and looking at a Q50 heat exchanger, but not all US shops send stuff up here.

J Josh Z. 2 weeks ago
They do, but shipping costs can be a killer. You'll probably pay duties too. Just a heads up.

P Paula 2 weeks ago
Yep, they ship outside the US. I've had friends in Australia order from them. Just be prepared for the extra shipping fees and customs.

Anyone ordered a turbo kit from AAM before? What was the lead time like? Trying to plan my build and wondering how long I'll be waiting.

A Anna 1 month ago
Lead times can vary a lot, especially for the bigger stuff like turbo kits. I'd expect at least a few weeks, maybe more if they're backordered. Best to call them directly.

J Jared 1 month ago
My 370Z turbo kit took about 4-5 weeks to ship. They're usually pretty up-front about it if you ask.

Looking at an exhaust system for my G37. How do these compare to, say, Stillen or Z1 Motorsports? Quality and sound-wise.

D Dana L. 1 month ago
AAM makes really good stuff, often considered a step up from Stillen for pure performance. Z1 is also solid, but AAM usually has a more aggressive, high-end focus. Depends on what you're after.

M Mark 1 month ago
I've run both AAM and Z1 parts. AAM generally feels more premium, especially for their exhaust notes. Z1 is great for selection and competitive pricing though.
